Etosha is famous for its vast salt pan and waterhole-based wildlife viewing, offering some of Africa’s most consistent sightings. Expect encounters with the Big 4 safari animals—lion, leopard, elephant, and rhino—alongside giraffe, zebra, and antelope species. Unlike other parks, Etosha’s predictable wildlife concentrations around waterholes ensure rewarding game drives even in a short stay. Your expert guide enhances the experience with tracking skills and in-depth knowledge, making this a standout Etosha safari tour.
Day 3
After your Etosha safari, experience an authentic Ova Himba cultural tour Namibia. This respectful visit offers real insight into one of Africa’s most preserved cultures. The Himba people continue their traditional lifestyle by choice, maintaining their distinctive dress, customs, and cattle-based livelihood. Learn about the holy fire, ancestral beliefs, and daily life, gaining a deeper cultural understanding beyond typical tourism experiences. Return to Windhoek for a relaxed evening. The Hon. Minister of Health, Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, presided over the discharge of the last Ebola Bundibugyo case patient from the isolation unit at Mulago Hospital, Kampala. The survivor received a discharge certificate in the presence of the Director General of Health Services, the WHO Country Representative, UNICEF Representative, Africa CDC Representative, and partners.
